Hp Driver 2.3.2 For Mac Sierra
Jun 18, 2015 This download includes the latest HP printing and scanning software for OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion. For information about supported printer models, see: http.
My printer worked properly with the Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite). After upgrading to OS 10.11.2 (el Capitan), I no longer can print in colour, only in black & white. Previously, when I printed under Yosemite, the print window provided the options of printing in Colour, B&W, and in grayscale. This option appears to be no longer available under el Capitan. I tried downloading a new driver from the HP website, and only a driver for the HP Deskjet 930C (not 932C) Yosemite version is available. I followed the HP website directions for installing a new driver (which in my case is the old one) and still am only able to print in B&W. How do I get my printer to once again print in colour, (plus the b&w and grayscale) options with the Mac el Capitan OS?
Osx video player to control speed. A Frustrated Senior Citizen. Hi, Welcome to the HP Support forums. I understand you can only print in black and white with an HP Deskjet 932c Printer from your Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan computer. I would like to help with that. HP has not released any software and drivers for the HP Deskjet 932c Printer since Mac OS X 10.4.
Therefore, connecting this printer can only be done by installing the HP Printer Driver and Software provided within your operating system. Here is a document that can provide assistance if needed -. Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance. I did try the steps you suggested, before submitting my first post/query, but was unsuccessful.
When I go to Apple>System Preferences>Printers&Scanners, Step 2.2, the printer listed there is the HP Deskjet 930C. My printer is an HP Deskjet 932C. When I delete and add the new printer listing, the only one available is still the 930C. Is this a problem? I cannot find a listing for the 932C printer. Apparently it wasn't a problem with the Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite operating system, as I could print colour pages before. What is the difference between the 930C and 932C printers?
I followed Steps 2.3-2.6 as directed, but when i again try to print a colour document it comes out as black & white. The printing window still does not give me the options of colour, b&w, or grayscale that I had with Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite. The HP Website suggests going to the Apple website to see which printers are supported:. I do not see the Deskjet 932C or 930C supported in the list. Is this an issue?
If so does this mean my 932C printer cannot be used with the Mac any more? How will I know which HP printers in the future will become obsolete with an OS update? A Frustrated Senior Citizen. Hi, I can understand your frustration. There are actually 3 printers in the HP Deskjet 930c series.
The HP Deskjet 930c, 932c, and 935c. Best video editing software for mac. I reviewed the specifications on each model to find the only real difference is how each printer connects to a computer. I also checked on the available software and drivers for all three and found they need to be installed the same way.
Not seeing the printer listed on the supported printer list means that the manufacturers are no longer developing any software for the unit. Doesn't mean you won't be able to use it, but with no software to support, it may take some 'MacGyvering' on your end to get it to work. I don't know if you've tried this. If you remove the printer from 'Printers & Scanners', then when before adding the printer back select 'Select Software.' From the 'Use' drop-down menu. There may be some alternate drivers available you could try to use with the printer.
If the is a list to pick from try to select something from the HP Deskjet or HP Photosmart product line. I hope you are able to find a way around this software availability issue. Hello rb011, I tried your suggestion, and removed the printer from the Mac 'Printers & Scanners', and then added the printer (930C, the only option, not 932C) back on. There was no solution to my problem, as the printer still only prints in B&W, with no colour or grayscale options available.
