Click to expand.I think we'll get packs of content or packs of characters. For example, a Golden Sun pack would contain Isaac, a Felix assist, and a lighthouse as the stage, along with many collectable trophies.
As for the second pack, just something containing a character or two with some extras. We won't get too much DLC. It'll be like Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart. They'll make numerous small packs that can all be pre-ordered together. We might get a pre-order bonus like some cool equipment or a Mii Outfit.
The total price? $15 at most sounds good. Since everyone else did it, my top 10 across the Smash series: 1. Fox (Melee) I know, 20XX etc. Etc., but I legitimately think that Fox is a fun character to play as because, simply put, he has really fluid movement options that require a decent amount of tech skill to use. Fox has a lot of shenanigans that require quick movement and reaction time (waveshining, shffl'd neutral airs, up throw -> up air, up smash out of shield), and because he has such good offensive pressure and movement options they really pay off and make him extremely satisfying to play as.
Captain Falcon (Melee) The best iteration of the Captain to date. When you see a Captain Falcon main, you know that he's in the game to have fun and nothing else. Moonwalk edgeguards are hilarious, and he has a bunch of moves that link directly into his best KO move, the knee.

Need I say more? Sheik (Smash 4) Smash 4 has its problems. The combination of gravity, landing lag and not enough hit stun mean that a lot of characters simply can't combo attacks that feel like you should be able to combo. Sheik is the exception to the rule, and it's a fucking awesome exception.
Combos out of down throw (into f-tilt, f-air or uair, the last of which can result is guaranteed at certain percents and can kill), f-tilt (into itself or every aerial but dair), and forwart air (also into itself, as those of you who have played against my Sheik know very well). On top of that, she has two good projectiles (burst grenade and needles, both of which are good in different situations), several reliable kill moves that all have setups (uair, up smash, bouncing fish, offstage back air, and even the first up b hitbox), and an excellent offstage game. Lucas (Project M) Watch Neon or Pink Fresh play P:M Lucas and you'll see why I like him, but it's hard to put into words other than saying that he has the jankiest movement and combos I've ever seen and it's fucking amazing.
Yoshi (Smash 4) With the exceptions of aMSa and Vectorman in Melee, Yoshi has always been a disappointing character. Super armor on his double jump, the best shield in the game (it covers him entirely, AND you can jump, up smash or up b out of it), a reliable projectile, an up smash that rivals Melee Fox's in terms of effectiveness, and lots of speed and combos to boot. Diddy (Brawl) You all know that by know that I think that Brawl was a horrendously designed game, imbalanced and generally unfun. As a result of being able to cancel out of hit stun in addition to the floatier physics and lower speed, most of the characters themselves generally weren't fun to play as. Snake (among a few others) had his DACUS, but even with the speed boost it gave him, he didn't really fit my play style.
I also wasn't a fan of abusing chain grabs, so Dedede and Iceys were out of the question. And I didn't use Metaknight because, well, I didn't want to be 'that guy.' Diddy was the only character I found to be truly rewarding and fun to use, and it was because of an exploit that ended up getting (sadly) removed from Smash 4: glide tossing. Little Mac (Smash 4) Mac isn't particularly good or bad -- his matchups vary greatly from character to character based (usually) on who is the most proficient at getting around his movement, into the air and offstage. The reason I like him is simple, though different from the other characters on the list: He's the best character design Sakurai has ever done for a Smash game.
Between his quick punches, the KO punch, his counter and his super fast dodging options, as well as not being able to take many hits, Little Mac plays like he plays in Punch Out. No other character in the series goes as far as to make their playstyle the same as the game that they came from (even though some come a bit close like Olimar).
