It works fine. I've been using MXO2 with Wircast for months. First set MXO2 input in its PrefPane.

Deactivate MAX if you have that. Open Wirecast Delete all the blue thumbnails. Open Shot Editor and delete all the blu thumbnails there too. Open Windows/Show Device Manager. Uncheck ALL the Matrox MXO2 boxes. Check the box that exactly matches your source.

You nee to know that. It depends on what you set in MXO2 PrefPane and what your camera and setting it's using. Quit Wirecast. Open Wirecast and you'll see one thumbnail which is the setting you've chosen. I've used MXO2 (I have LE version) with HD-SDI, HDMI (like the Mini) and S-Video and they all work fine on both MacPro and MacBookPro.
